Job Title: Business Development Manager – Locum Tenens

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our Locum Tenens division. This individual will be responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding new business opportunities within healthcare organizations, including hospitals, clinics, and private practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the healthcare staffing industry and a proven track record of building client relationships and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our client base in the Locum Tenens space
- Identifyand prospect new healthcare clients through market research, networking, and outreach
- Build strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their staffing needs and providing tailored solutions
- Present Locum Tenens services to decision-makers and negotiate contract terms and pricing
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure client requirements are clearly communicated and met
- Track, analyze, and report sales metrics and forecasts using CRM software
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events
- Maintain deep knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes within healthcare staffing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of business development or sales experience, preferably in the healthcare staffing or Locum Tenens industry
- Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape and physician staffing models
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Goal-oriented with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Proficiencyin CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Bullhorn) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%)
Preferred Attributes:
- Existing network of healthcare clients or decision-makers
- Previousexperience in a start-up or high-growth environment
- Knowledge of licensing, credentialing, and compliance related to Locum Tenens staffing
Compensation: 60k - 70k Base plus uncapped commissions
