Business Innovation Manager – AI, MarTech & Digital Solutions

As a Business Innovation Manager, you will connect technology, marketing, and business needs by transforming promising ideas into practical solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitor emerging AI applications, APIs, platforms, automation technologies, and digital marketing developments to identify opportunities with tangible business value.

• Experiment with new tools and technologies, assessing their potential benefits for internal teams and external clients.

• Develop prototypes, tools, automations, and workflows, taking projects from initial concepts through implementation and production.

• Build solutions across AI, data, search, media, content, analytics, and other marketing technology areas.

• Maintain and enhance existing tools and applications, improving their stability, scalability, and performance.

• Collaborate with Search, Media, Data, Strategy, and other teams to understand operational challenges and translate them into technical solutions.

• Act as a technical sparring partner, evaluating new ideas, assessing feasibility, and supporting innovation initiatives alongside the Director of Business Innovation.

• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and independently drive projects forward.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines an understanding of digital marketing with practical technical skills and a strong passion for innovation. You enjoy experimenting, building solutions, and communicating technical concepts clearly. You should bring:

• Experience or a strong understanding of digital marketing and its key disciplines.

• A technical mindset and a hands-on approach to solving business challenges through technology.

• Practical experience developing prototypes, connecting systems, building automations, or writing scripts.

• Familiarity with APIs, AI integrations, large language models (LLMs), AI agents, and automation tools.

• The ability to evaluate emerging technologies and turn promising ideas into functional, scalable solutions.

• An independent and proactive working style, with the ability to identify opportunities and take ownership of projects.

• Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity about new technologies and their practical applications.

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Business-level proficiency in German is essential.

• Good English communication skills are an additional advantage.

• The ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary and international teams.
