Business Intelligence Analyst
Summary
The Business Intelligence Analyst gathers and documents business requirements, translates them into functional specifications, and analyzes operational data to support project teams. The role requires proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and documentation tools like Jira and Confluence.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Translate business requirements into BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Create process flows, workflow diagrams, and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, product managers, and project teams throughout the SDLC.
- Validate solutions against business requirements and support UAT.
- Perform gap analysis and impact analysis for proposed changes.
- Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
- Manage requirement changes and maintain proper documentation and traceability.
- Support project planning, prioritization, and implementation activities.
- Communicate project requirements and status clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
