Role Overview

The BI Reporting Analyst adds value to the clients by analyzing market data and sharing insights into their key business issues that lead to maximization of growth opportunities. The successful candidate shall be highly motivated and results-driven with a passion for the reporting space. The candidate must be able to work independently, as well as actively participate with a collaborative team and be involved in the implementation of both solutions and technological approaches, architectures and applications used to facilitate the provision and delivery of insights that ignite growth. A deep understanding of how CPG organizations work, what the key areas for data driven business questions are and how information granularity required varies on different seniority levels and organizations. The role is an international role in our Centre of Reporting Excellence (CoRE) located in Athens.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and other visualizations to present data in a clear, easy-to-understand format using Unify.
• Interpret data to identify patterns, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Update and maintain data structures, databases, and reporting tools.
• Monitor data quality, resolve discrepancies, and ensure the accuracy of reports.
• Develop and implement new reporting processes, tools, or automation to improve efficiency.

Requirements

Mandatory

• University Degree preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research, Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of professional experience in relevant BI, Reporting, or Data Analytics roles.
• Advanced Excel skills: Strong proficiency in Excel including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and core analytical functions, with daily application in data analysis and reporting.
• Basic Data Visualization: Familiarity with at least one BI/Data Visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, SAP BI, IRI Unify, or similar). Candidates are expected to understand dashboard functionality and reporting principles.
• Analytical Thinking & Attention to Detail: Ability to identify patterns, trends, discrepancies, and key insights from data.
• Business Acumen: Ability to understand key business indicators and translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Collaboration & Communication: Ability to transform complex data into clear and actionable insights (data storytelling) and effectively communicate with business stakeholders.
• Fluency in English: Essential due to collaboration with international teams and stakeholders.
• Adaptability & Learning Agility: Demonstrates curiosity, willingness to learn, and the ability to quickly adapt to new tools, technologies, and business environments.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to proactively identify issues and recommend effective solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with BI Tools: Hands-on experience with IRI Unify, Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, SAP BI, or similar reporting platforms.
• SQL: Knowledge of basic SQL queries, including SELECT statements, JOINs, filtering, aggregation, and GROUP BY.
• Python: Familiarity with Python for data manipulation and analysis (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• Additional European Languages: German, Italian, French, Dutch, Spanish, or other European languages are considered an asset.
• Passion for Reporting Design: Curiosity, creativity, and an eye for design to help deliver an exceptional reporting experience.
