The challenge is to:
- Partner closely with Commercial, Finance, and other key stakeholders to identify opportunities that drive sales growth, margin improvement, and business performance.
- Translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations, presenting findings to management and business partners on a regular basis.
- Establish strong relationships with business stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration, project delivery, and change adoption.
- Lead and coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process to formulate a cohesive view of business (Sales to Total Commercial Income) with commercial team
- Provide PMO and governance support for business intelligence initiatives, ensuring effective execution and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Support market share reviews with the Senior Leadership Team.
- Advocate the use of data as the voice of the customer and support the development of a data-driven decision-making culture
- Drive the enhancement of reporting, visualization, and analytical capabilities to improve business transparency and decision quality.
- Support the Business Intelligence Lead in leading and developing a team of analysts to deliver timely, actionable insights for the Hong Kong and Macau Food business.
Do you have experience in Planning and Analysis?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance / Accounting / Business Administration / Information System / Statistics
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in Financial Planning and Analysis in FMCG / retail industry is preferred.
- Strong retail planning and analytical skills, solid skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are essential
- Knowledge in SQL, Tableau/Power BI and Google Analytics is an advantage
- Good command of English and Chinese, fluent in mandarin is an advantage
- Be able to work well as a team and independently
- A natural curiosity to interrogate data and identify hidden patterns to support business needs
