Business Intelligence Developer
Summary
BI Developer designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise Tableau dashboards and SQL-based reporting solutions for the Revenue Operations team to support strategic decision-making.
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Intelligence (BI) Developer with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise reporting and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Tableau, strong SQL skills, and experience transforming complex data into actionable business insights.
This role partners closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and leadership teams to develop scalable dashboards, data models, and reporting solutions that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Dashboard & Visualization Development
Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards, scorecards, and reports.
Translate business requirements into effective data visualizations and analytical solutions.
Apply Tableau best practices for performance optimization, usability, and visual storytelling.
Create executive-level dashboards with actionable KPIs and metrics.
Develop and automate recurring reports and analytics solutions.
Perform data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and business performance insights.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting platforms.
Validate and troubleshoot data discrepancies and reporting issues.
Database & Data Management
Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
Collaborate with data engineering teams to develop and optimize data models.
Create and maintain data sources, data extracts, and metadata documentation.
Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are followed.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Gather reporting requirements from business users and leadership teams.
Provide recommendations on KPI design, reporting strategy, and dashboard enhancements.
Conduct user training and documentation for Tableau reporting solutions.
Support ad hoc reporting and analytical requests.
Train and mentor other team members
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and dashboard performance.
Stay current with Tableau features, BI trends, and emerging analytics technologies.
Participate in data quality initiatives and reporting governance programs.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Reporting Development.
Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
Experience designing enterprise-level dashboards and reporting solutions.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes.
Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation Range:
$105,000.00-$135,000.00Placement in the salary range will be decided upon completion of the interview process. Salary determination will be determined based on factors including but not limited to relevant experience, demonstrated skills related to the requirements of the role, education, certifications, and geographic location.
