Overview
The RESL Automation team is seeking a highly motivated Quality Analyst to support the delivery of innovative automation, workflow, and operational solutions that enable business transformation across Real Estate Secured Lending (RESL). The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and integrity of automation products, reporting solutions, and operational tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
This role partners closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Operations teams, and stakeholders to validate business requirements, execute testing strategies, identify defects, and support successful production implementations.
Job Accountabilities
Quality Assurance & Testing
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and functional requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, user acceptance, and end-to-end testing for automation and operational platforms.
- Validate system enhancements, defect fixes, and production releases.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
- Support root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions.
Business & Process Validation
- Review business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure completeness and testability.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to clarify requirements and define testing approaches.
- Validate business rules, calculations, workflows, and operational processes to ensure adherence to requirements.
- Ensure data integrity across applications, databases, and reporting solutions.
Automation & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency through automation and reusable testing assets.
- Support implementation of automated testing frameworks where applicable.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to quality management, release management, and operational excellence.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Production Readiness & Support
- Support production deployments and post-implementation validation activities.
- Monitor application performance and quality metrics.
- Assist in troubleshooting production issues and validating resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with governance, audit, regulatory, and risk management requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, Business Analysis, or related technology/business roles.
- Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, and defect management processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Experience testing web applications, workflow solutions, or operational platforms.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
