Business Manager, Investment Operations

The Business Manager partners with the AVP and leadership team to drive operational excellence, business performance, governance, and strategic execution. This role serves as a key enabler of organizational effectiveness by providing business insights, coordinating strategic priorities, driving accountability, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate is expected to operate with minimal supervision, independently navigate complex operational issues, and effectively collaborate with managers, directors, AVPs, and cross-functional stakeholders. This role combines strong business acumen, analytical capability, project management discipline, and digital innovation to support informed decision-making and sustainable business outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.

  • 8 years' experience in Business Management or Operations, PMO, Strategic Planning, Transformation, or similar functions.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience developing executive presentations, business reporting, and performance insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

  • Project Management certification (PMP, Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, etc.).

  • Experience building Power BI solutions, automation workflows, or AI-enabled productivity tools.

  • Experience within investments operations, financial services, insurance, shared services, or operations environments.
