Business Manager Strategist - CPG
The Business Strategist utilizes data & analytics to support all new business sales opportunities within the Business Development team. The strategist will serve as a conduit for strong storytelling in the need for our services within specific categories & channels. Additionally, this role will serve as a vision casting expert to the various channel leads across the organization within the sales discovery cycle. The ideal candidate is masterful at working across large sums of data to compile the “why Acosta, why now” story, comfortable with presenting to c-suite level executives & thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to leverage syndicated data, category & shopper insights & full channel analytics to create top-to-top slides for strategic client presentations.
- Cross-functional excellence: Strategic facilitator across channel leaders that articulates client needs /scope of work & maps all parties to stringent timeline management to support timely output back to sales.
- Creative storyteller that allows complex datasets to seem approachable, easy to navigate & relevant to customer & industry mindset.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in industry name required.
- Must have Category Management experience.
- Must have Syndicated Data experience.

- Highly successful in leveraging data & analytics to create real world, client facing solutions.
- Adept at storytelling and engaging business leaders.
- Stellar presentation skills and ability to engage and lead client meetings with senior stakeholders.
- Highly developed Project Management skills.

- Adept at building sustainable relationships.
Physical Requirements
