Linden Place Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Greensboro, NC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Office Manager to join our team.
As a Business Office Manager, you will play an essential role in supporting the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the facility. We are looking for a professional who is organized, dependable, knowledgeable, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities while providing excellent service to residents, families, and staff.

What You’ll Do
As our Business Office Manager, you will:
Oversee and coordinate the daily operations and activities of the Business Office.
Maximize cash flow through effective billing, follow-up, and collection processes.
Manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, cash receipts, petty cash, and resident funds.
Prepare and submit claims for all payer types accurately and in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
Monitor outstanding accounts receivable and take appropriate action to support timely collections.
Identify and follow up on delinquent accounts and report concerns to the Nursing Home Administrator.
Maintain accurate records within the facility’s Human Resources, Payroll, and accounting systems.
Support payroll and other administrative functions as needed.
Assist with resident admissions, move-ins, tours, and related administrative processes.
Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and assist with special projects.
Maintain accurate and confidential business and resident records.
Ensure business office processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
Collaborate with facility leadership and other departments to support overall facility operations.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
1–2 years of management or supervisory experience required.
Previous business office or healthcare administrative experience, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
Strong knowledge of billing, collections, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general office procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to prioritize responsibilities, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of quality and productivity.
Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative member of the facility leadership team.
