About the Role
In this role, you’ll support business operations and leadership effectiveness for a large, globally distributed marketing organization. You’ll establish and maintain a strong operating rhythm by coordinating leadership forums, managing agendas and action items, preparing executive-ready communications, and keeping key business priorities visible and on track.You’ll partner closely with senior stakeholders to prepare business reviews, budget discussions, leadership meetings, and organizational updates. You’ll also contribute to transformation initiatives, quarterly business reviews, reporting, and other high-priority operational projects within a complex, matrixed organization.
What You'll Do
- Own and maintain the organization’s master Rhythm of Business calendar, leadership forum inventory, and standard meeting charters.
- Coordinate leadership meetings, including agenda development, meeting preparation, action-item tracking, and follow-up.
- Maintain leadership staff meeting agendas and frame discussion topics around decisions, risks, and help needed.
- Drive follow-through on leadership decisions and action items by maintaining clear owners, statuses, and deadlines.
- Prepare executive-ready communications, including leadership memos, narratives, decision briefs, presentations, meeting materials, and business updates.
- Support quarterly business reviews, budget reviews, and other recurring leadership and business-planning activities.
- Partner with budget owners to prepare financial reviews, monitor business commitments, and identify potential risks or variances.
- Coordinate cross-functional business reviews and ensure key themes, insights, decisions, and actions are documented and communicated.
- Maintain operational artifacts, dashboards, status reports, decision logs, and other business-management materials.
- Support organizational transformation initiatives by tracking milestones, commitments, dependencies, and business outcomes.
- Develop and maintain project and operational processes that improve visibility, accountability, and execution.
- Partner with stakeholders across functions and geographies to build alignment and support the timely completion of business priorities.
- Identify operational risks, gaps, and opportunities and help develop practical solutions.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Contribute to strategic projects and other business-operations initiatives as organizational priorities evolve.
- Build strong working relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, economics, finance, accounting, or a related field.
- At least eight years of relevant professional experience in business operations, business management, program management, strategy and operations, Chief of Staff work, consulting, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience supporting senior leaders or working within a complex, matrixed organization.
- Strong experience developing executive-ready written communications and presentation materials.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Planner, and SharePoint.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage time effectively.
- Ability to collaborate across functions, geographies, and organizational levels.
- Ability to adjust working hours when needed to support a globally distributed organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working as a Business Manager, Chief of Staff, Strategy and Operations Lead, or comparable business operations professional.
- Experience supporting a large, globally distributed organization.
- Consulting experience in strategy, operations, organizational transformation, or business management.
- Experience managing a leadership Rhythm of Business, operating cadence, or governance process.
- Experience preparing executive-level PowerPoint presentations, narratives, decision briefs, and business reviews.
- Experience with budget management, financial reviews, forecasting, expenditure tracking, or business-performance reporting.
- Experience managing cross-functional transformation initiatives and organizational change.
- Experience establishing governance frameworks, meeting charters, decision logs, action-tracking systems, and operational processes.
- Strong understanding of business and management principles, strategic planning, resource allocation, and operational execution.
- Experience with enterprise business applications and workflow or process-management tools.
- Ability to analyze business trends, identify risks, and develop solutions to potential budget or operational challenges.
Compensation
At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market.
For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated compensation range is $48.08 to $52.88 USD per hour. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. The final compensation and job title may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications.
Location and Work Arrangement
This is a remote position.
Candidates must be available to work core business hours in the Pacific time zone and adjust their working hours when needed to support a globally distributed organization.
