Business Operations Manager
Description
About the role
Are you passionate about turning data into decisions and building solutions that generate a real impact on the business?
At EALDE Business School, we have been training professionals in Spain and Latin America for over 19 years through a 100% digital educational model, with postgraduate programs specialized in Compliance, Risk Management, and Sustainability.
We have a consolidated track record, with systems and processes that have accompanied our growth. Now we want to take a step further: to turn data into the axis of a more efficient, connected, and results-oriented operation.
To achieve this, we are looking for a Business Operations Manager with a business vision, an analytical mindset, and the ability to transform operational needs into concrete solutions.
🎯 Your mission
Connect data, processes, systems, and teams, guaranteeing reliable information, common indicators, and clear procedures.
We are looking for a profile with an engineering mindset, capable of understanding the operation from start to finish, identifying improvement opportunities, and converting them into real solutions.
We are not just looking for someone who analyzes and proposes, but for someone who designs, builds, and implements: dashboards, automations, workflows, and procedures that improve the organization's functioning.
What you'll do
- Define and maintain data maps, information sources, owners, and flows between systems.
- Unify KPIs, calculation criteria, and data quality standards, coordinating their implementation with IT.
- Manage access criteria, permissions, and traceability in accordance with GDPR.
- Exploit information in BigQuery and develop dashboards and reports to facilitate business decisions.
- Analyze, design, and document cross-functional processes from start to finish, identifying owners, controls, and dependencies.
- Transform undocumented processes into clear, applicable, and measurable procedures.
- Optimize workflows, eliminating manual tasks, duplications, and bottlenecks.
- Prepare process maps, operating procedures, functional specifications, and integration documentation.
- Work with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud as an advanced user.
- Define functional needs and coordinate system improvements with IT.
- Build automations and integrations using Make, Zapier, APIs, and Webhooks.
- Monitor technological incidents that affect the operation.
- Supervise tasks, deliverables, and KPIs of different teams through shared dashboards.
- Lead follow-up meetings with area managers, identifying progress, blockers, and pending decisions.
- Detect deviations, drive corrective actions, and follow up until resolution.
- Present executive reports of results and progress directly to Management.
What we're looking for
We will prioritize professionals who currently perform functions in Business Operations, Revenue Operations (RevOps), Data/BI Operations, Process Excellence, or equivalent positions.
- 3-5 years of experience in operations, data governance, functional analysis, or process improvement.
- Demonstrable experience building and implementing workflows, dashboards, automations, or procedures that are currently in use.
- Solid knowledge of data governance, KPI definition, data models, and information quality.
- Engineering mindset, analytical capacity, and orientation toward execution.
- Advanced mastery of Salesforce (Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud), especially reporting, dashboards, and data quality.
- Advanced SQL, experience with BigQuery, advanced Excel, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio).
- Practical experience with Make or Zapier, APIs, and Webhooks.
- Knowledge of the digital business: acquisition and conversion funnels, CRM metrics, and customer lifecycle.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to document processes and reports in a clear and structured manner.
Nice to have
- Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Administration with a quantitative orientation.
- Experience in EdTech, online training, or e-commerce.
- Knowledge of payment gateways or recurring billing models.
What you'll get
- A consolidated international project, with over 19 years of track record and activity in Spain and Latin America.
- A cross-functional and strategic position, with a global vision of the business and direct reporting to Management.
- Autonomy to build and implement solutions, with agility in decision-making and little bureaucracy.
- Real and visible impact from the first months, participating in operational improvement projects.
- A technological environment with tools such as BigQuery, Salesforce, Make/Zapier, and APIs, where you can apply your knowledge.
- Hybrid work model in Madrid.
