Business Operations Process Specialist

The Business Operations Process Specialist supports the delivery and continuous improvement of core processes across the Commercial Markets Delivery Team. Reporting to the Business Operations Process Manager, the role improves operational efficiency, data accuracy, compliance and service delivery.

Approximately 40–50% of the role supports UK Business Operations, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to UK Business Operations Management.

Key Accountabilities

• Deliver and improve core business processes.
• Use data and operational insight to identify risks, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement sustainable process and system improvements.
• Provide analytical, systems and operational support to commercial business operations (with the focus on UK Business Operations)
• Partner with stakeholders to align priorities and deliver business outcomes.
• Maintain accurate reporting and operational documentation while ensuring compliance.
• Promote the effective use of SAP, Power BI, Microsoft Office & 365 and Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate etc.)

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, a scientific discipline or a related field.
• 2-3 years relevant commercial operations experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365, particularly Excel; experience with SAP and Power BI is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and process-improvement skills.
• Good understanding of business systems, data management and end-to-end processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Customer-focused, accurate and accountable.
• Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively on own initiative.
• Naturally curious, self-motivated and committed to continuous learning and improvement.

• Effective resolution of process and system issues.
• Consistent compliance with policies, procedures and governance standards.
