This role combines strategic advisory with hands-on execution, requiring the ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex business challenges, and lead multidisciplinary teams through every phase of the transaction lifecycle—from pre-close planning and Day 1 readiness to operating model implementation and post-close value realization.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

  • 10+ years of experience in management consulting, transaction advisory, corporate development, FP&A, finance transformation, value creation, and / or operational excellence.

  • Demonstrated experience leading M&A integration, separation, carve-out, divestiture, or post-merger transformation programs.

  • Strong understanding of transaction lifecycle activities, including diligence support, integration planning, Day 1 execution, operating model design, TSA management, synergy realization, and post-close optimization.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across finance, HR, IT, operations, procurement, supply chain, commercial, legal, and product organizations.

  • Knowledge of organizational change management, communication planning, governance structures, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Strong financial acumen with experience analyzing business performance, financial models, operational metrics, and value creation opportunities.

  • Experience improving core business processes, including procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, supply chain planning, and working capital optimization.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, executive stakeholders, and competing priorities in fast-paced transaction environments.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and executive facilitation skills.

  • Experience advising private equity clients and / or Fortune 1000 organizations.

  • Background in finance transformation, operational excellence, supply chain optimization, or digital transformation.

  • PMP, CPA, CFA, Lean Six Sigma, or other relevant professional certifications are a plus.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of M&A integration, separation, carve-out, and stand-up engagements for private equity, private equity-backed, and / or corporate clients.

  • Advise executive leadership on strategic decisions related to current and target operating models, organizational design, functional integration and / or separation, and go-forward business process and technology optimization.

  • Direct multiple workstreams across finance, HR, IT, operations, supply chain, legal, sales, commercial, and other functions to ensure alignment with transaction objectives and critical milestones.

  • Develop and oversee integration and separation strategies, including pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, TSA planning, and synergy identification, validation, tracking, and value capture.

  • Analyze financial, operational, and organizational data to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations that improve performance and accelerate value creation.

  • Identify business process and technology opportunities across procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, supply chain, finance, and shared services functions with potential impact to M&A scenarios.

  • Facilitate executive steering committees, governance meetings, and cross-functional workshops to drive alignment, resolve issues, and enable timely decision-making.

  • Oversee development of high-quality client deliverables, including executive presentations, financial analyses, operating models, implementation roadmaps, and status reporting.

  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, staffing, and risk while ensuring consistent, high-quality client delivery across multiple concurrent engagements.

  • Build trusted client relationships, identify opportunities for additional services, and contribute to business development efforts.

  • Mentor, coach, and develop consultants and managers while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

  • Support practice growth through recruiting, training, thought leadership, methodology development, and knowledge sharing.

Applications for this evergreen opportunity will be accepted through Dec 31, 2026.
