Business Planning & Performance Manager

About the role

The Business Planning Manager is a key member of the Business Planning & Performance team at dnata Singapore. This individual will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and ongoing management of business plans, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives. The role will involve working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to analyze business performance, drive improvements, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the development of business plans, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and working with key stakeholders to define clear goals and performance targets

  • Design, track, and evaluate business performance metrics (KPIs) to measure the success of business strategies

  • Proactively monitor and report on performance trends, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret performance data to provide actionable insights for business improvement

  • Prepare regular performance reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key issues, opportunities, and performance trends

  • Collaborate with operations teams to assess and enhance operational efficiency, identifying process improvements and cost-saving opportunities

  • Partner with various teams (finance, operations, HR, etc.) to support business planning and ensure performance goals are met

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor performance, and market changes to provide strategic insights

  • Identify potential business risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by recommending best practices and supporting initiatives to enhance organizational performance

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business planning, performance management, or strategic planning within a corporate or operational environment

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

  • Proficient in business intelligence tools and performance tracking systems (e.g., Excel, Power BI)

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present findings to senior leadership and stakeholders

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on operational performance improvement

  • Experience in the aviation, logistics, or related industries is an advantage
