Discussion

Adecco is partnering our client, a leading global tech organisation.

The Opportunity

  • Adecco is partnering with a leading global technology organisation to hire a Business Partner Analyst supporting marketing procurement across APAC.
  • This is not a traditional procurement role. The team is looking for a commercially strong, agile and curious professional who can help rethink how marketing procurement operates in an increasingly AI-first environment.
  • You will work across marketing categories including Media, Creative, Social, Events and Market Research, partnering with marketers, agencies and suppliers to identify value opportunities, improve spend visibility and elevate existing ways of working.
  • This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys commercial problem-solving, data, AI, transformation and challenging the status quo.

Location: Mapletree Business City, Singapore

Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

The Talent

  • Min 5-7 years of experience, coming from procurement, an agency, media, adtech, commercial or finance background.
  • What matters most is your commercial judgement, adaptability and ability to transfer your experience into a fast-changing environment.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience in marketing procurement, indirect procurement, agency, media, adtech, SaaS or another commercially relevant environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of supplier and agency economics.
  • Strong analytical and business intelligence skills, with the ability to turn spend data into actionable insights.
  • Understanding of marketing and agency ecosystems and how they are evolving through AI.
  • Genuine AI fluency and an interest in using AI, automation and AI agents to improve how work gets done.
  • Strong systems thinking and the ability to connect people, processes, technology and commercial outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
  • A growth mindset with the curiosity to learn, experiment and challenge existing approaches.
  • Resilience and agility, with the confidence to operate in ambiguity and manage change.
  • Courage and ownership - someone who is willing to speak up, take calculated risks and drive things forward.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Mindset matters as much as experience. We are particularly interested in candidates who are proactive, curious and willing to elevate and re-engineer existing ways of working, rather than simply follow established processes.

Job Description

  • Support marketing procurement strategies across APAC covering Media, Creative, Social, Events and Market Research.
  • Partner with marketers to understand business requirements, buying needs and spend.
  • Analyse spend data and market trends to identify commercial and value opportunities.
  • Support RFP/RFx processes, supplier evaluations, negotiations and agency selection.
  • Assess agency models, capabilities and AI adoption to determine how they fit within the broader marketing ecosystem.
  • Explore innovative commercial and pricing models, including output- and performance-based approaches.
  • Evaluate how AI and new workflows can improve agency productivity, value and outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships.
  • Use business intelligence and analytics to support category decisions and performance evaluation.
  • Identify opportunities to automate transactional procurement activities and leverage AI agents and predictive analytics.
  • Develop programmes, processes and systems that improve procurement effectiveness and elevate the overall marketing supply chain.
  • Partner with stakeholders across APAC and drive alignment around commercial priorities and business outcomes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by challenging existing processes and identifying smarter, more efficient ways of working.
