Business Process Manager

ROLE SUMMARY
The Business Process Analyst translates business needs into structured, implementation-ready requirements for system and process improvements. The role partners with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and process owners to gather, analyze, validate, and document current-state pain points, future-state processes, business rules, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria. The position serves as a key liaison between the Business and IT/Technology teams throughout solution design, development, testing, and implementation to ensure delivered solutions address approved requirements and intended business outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Requirements Elicitation & Stakeholder Engagement (25%): Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions with business users, subject matter experts, and process owners to identify objectives, pain points, business needs, constraints, and priorities.
- Business Process Analysis & Future-State Design (20%): Document and assess current-state processes, identify gaps and improvement opportunities, and define future-state workflows, business rules, controls, data needs, reports, and required system capabilities.
- Requirements Documentation & Traceability (20%): Translate business needs into clear requirements using appropriate artifacts such as BRDs, functional requirements, user stories, use cases, process maps, acceptance criteria, and requirements traceability matrices.
- IT Liaison & Solution Design Refinement (15%): Serve as the primary business liaison with IT/Technology teams to clarify requirements, evaluate proposed solution designs, resolve ambiguities, and confirm that technical designs remain aligned with the approved business intent.
- Validation, UAT & Business Acceptance (10%): Support test scenario development, coordinate business validation and user acceptance testing, document defects or gaps, and verify that completed solutions meet agreed requirements before business sign-off.
- Requirements Governance & Implementation Support (10%): Maintain requirements versions, decisions, dependencies, assumptions, and change requests; support implementation readiness, user communication, process documentation, and post-launch validation as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years in business analysis, process improvement, systems implementation, or digital transformation, with close Business-IT coordination.
- Methods & Deliverables: Experience preparing BRDs/FRDs, user stories, use cases, process maps, business rules, acceptance criteria, traceability matrices, and UAT documents.
- Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, structured writing, workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication. Able to utilize MS office business tools.
- Real estate/PropTech, ERP, CRM, or enterprise system modernization experience is preferred.
- Agile/Scrum, BPMN, and a business analysis certification (ECBA/CCBA/CBAP) are advantages.
