Business Product Manager
Summary
A government Product Manager overseeing HDB’s SaaS Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) software lifecycle, bridging Finance, IT, and vendors to ensure system governance, upgrades, and business-aligned configurations for planning, forecasting, and performance management.
[What the role is]
This is an Ops-Tech role supporting the full life cycle of HDB’s effective use of a SaaS Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) software which is continually evolved/enhanced by the software vendor. You should have Finance domain knowledge; skills in stakeholder management, analytical and problem-solving; as well as a product ownership mindset. Through collaboration with internal Finance teams, IT and external vendors, you ensure good governance of system configurations as the software is patched/upgraded, and to develop new system configurations for HDB’s evolving business needs and governance in planning, forecasting, budgetary control and performance management processes.[What you will be working on]
- Support system administration, service requests, incident/problem management activities
- Coordinate internal teams to handle SaaS platform releases including review sessions, changes to system configurations and user testing
- Support governance and continuous optimisation/improvements of system configurations
- Monitor and plan for upcoming changes/new functions in the software vendor’s EPM product roadmap
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, and external vendors to deliver on change requests and enhancements
- Translate new/changes in business requirements into effective system configurations
- Maintain and evolve system documentation and user self-help resources
- Support user adoption and change management
[What we are looking for]
- Degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience in Business Analysis, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or Business Analytics.
- Experience in EPM software, Financial Systems, or IT Product Management. Oracle enterprise software experience is preferred but not essential.
