The Marketing Specialist I supports business unit leadership by providing analytical insights, performance reporting, budgeting support, and market research. This position evaluates product and business performance, develops reporting tools, supports strategic initiatives, and assists with the planning and execution of marketing programs aligned with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and support marketing strategies and programs for products or product lines.
- Analyze product and business performance to identify trends and support business goals and objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, emerging trends, and areas for improvement.
- Provide recommendations to improve products, operational processes, and business practices.
- Partner with sales and business teams to address product-related concerns and support customer needs.
- Access business and customer systems to generate reports and analysis for leadership and key stakeholders.
- Complete assigned projects and analytical initiatives that support organizational priorities.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and professional presentations for leadership, business partners, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Track, maintain, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), scorecards, and business metrics.
- Support budget development, forecasting, financial tracking, and related analytical activities.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance databases, models, dashboards, and reporting tools while ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Analyze data, market conditions, and business performance to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, marketing, operations, finance, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of business analysis, marketing principles, reporting tools, budgeting processes, and performance measurement.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with databases, reporting tools, and business systems preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively to a variety of audiences.
- Works under general supervision and follows established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Exercises sound judgment while managing assigned responsibilities and projects.
- Collaborates effectively with leadership, sales teams, business partners, and other stakeholders.
- Manages multiple priorities and projects while meeting established deadlines.
