Business Project Manager – IT & Digital Transformation

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Project Manager to lead multiple IT and digital transformation projects within a complex public-sector environment. You will manage projects from requirements analysis through implementation, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure stakeholder and regulatory alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead IT projects involving government services, regulatory changes, and digital solutions.
  • Gather and analyse business requirements and prepare functional and technical specifications.
  • Coordinate internal teams, clients, partners, and suppliers.
  • Plan, organise, and monitor projects across scoping, design, validation, and change management.
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Organise training for employees and end users.
  • Prepare project dashboards, progress reports, and performance indicators.
  • Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Organise and lead project steering committees.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Project Manager.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, GitLab, and Jenkins.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in public-sector or regulatory projects is an advantage.
  • Languages: French, Dutch, and English.

Assignment Details

  • Start: 1 October 2026
  • Duration: Until 31 December 2026, with possible extension
  • Workload: Full-time, 40 hours/week
  • Location: Brussels
  • Working arrangement: Hybrid, minimum 2 days/week on-site
  • Team: Multidisciplinary team with internal and external professionals
