Business Project Manager
Description
【About the Role】
The Business Project Manager acts as the bridge between commercial strategy and technical delivery within XING Mobility's PMO organization.
This role focuses on front-end engagement — supporting sales intakes, qualifying customer requirements, shaping proposals — and extends into portfolio management and product definition in collaboration with Product Managers.
The goal: turn the Voice of the Customer (VoC) into actionable insights and differentiating product selling points across XING's portfolio.
【Key Responsibilities】
1.Front-End Business Engagement
Partner with Sales to assess and qualify ESS project opportunities, ensuring technical feasibility, cost competitiveness, and strategic fit.
Lead or co-drive customer requirement intake sessions, translating them into structured project scopes and risk-benefit analyses.
Support bid/tender preparation through technical and commercial alignment, including cost structure, delivery schedule, and value propositions.
Serve as PMO interface for early-phase customer discussions and solution presentations.
2.Portfolio & Product Collaboration
Collaborate closely with Product Managers to consolidate market and customer feedback into VoC databases and feature roadmaps.
Facilitate internal decision processes for product positioning, price-performance trade-offs, and lifecycle priorities.
Participate in portfolio review and roadmap meetings, ensuring alignment between sales demand and R&D/product planning.
3.Project Governance & Execution Readiness
Lead business case definition and pre-kickoff activities for ESS programs prior to QG0/QG1 gates.
Align cross-functional stakeholders (PMO, Engineering, SCM, QA, and Finance) for readiness reviews.
Monitor and update commercial performance metrics (e.g., margin, ROI, payback) throughout project lifecycle.
4.Market Intelligence & Strategic Support
Maintain updated understanding of ESS market trends, competing technologies, and customer applications.
Support strategic initiatives such as cost-down roadmaps, regional go-to-market models, and supplier evaluation.
