Business Quality Assurance Analyst

We are building experienced Business / Quality Assurance Analysts to support active and incoming client engagements across multiple industries. If you have a solid background in requirements documentation, test planning, and defect tracking, we want to hear from you.

What the Work Looks Like

Depending on the engagement, Business / Quality Assurance Analysts typically work on:

• Studying business functions to define operational objectives and output requirements

• Reviewing current practices and recommending system improvements

• Writing Functional Specification Documents and Business Requirement Documents

• Building workflow charts and diagrams that map system capabilities

• Creating requirements-based test plans and providing estimates for planning

• Executing tests on schedule and tracking defects to closure

• Conducting ad hoc analysis on operational issues and proposing alternate solutions

• Documenting and communicating test plans, results, and sign off documents

What We Look For

Must Have:

• Available to work Philippine day shift hours, onsite

• 3 to 5 years of experience in business analysis or quality assurance

• Experience preparing Functional Specification Documents and Business Requirement Documents

• Working knowledge of testing principles, including test plan creation and defect tracking

• Understanding of systems engineering concepts and the project management cycle

• Proficiency with G Suite, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cost and benefit analysis and building business cases

• Ability to influence stakeholders and manage multiple projects to schedule

• Experience preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to stakeholders

• Knowledge of project management methodologies

• Background in IT operations or business analysis

• Manual testing experience with exposure to automation, using tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, SQL, or Postman

Work Setup and Schedule

• Onsite setup, Philippines-based

• Day shift on Philippine Standard Time

• Full-time, talent pool and open application
