About the role

Argold Jobs Inc is seeking a Business Requirements Analyst to join our growing Information and Communication Technology team. This is a full-time position based in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. As a Business Requirements Analyst, you will serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business needs into clear, actionable system requirements. This role is essential to ensuring that our technology solutions align with organisational objectives and deliver measurable business value. You will play a key part in driving process improvements and supporting the successful implementation of business and systems solutions across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

1. Gather, document, and analyse business requirements from stakeholders across multiple departments and levels within the organisation

2. Conduct detailed interviews, workshops, and process mapping sessions to understand current business processes and identify areas for improvement

3. Develop comprehensive requirements documentation, including functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria

4. Create visual representations of business processes, system workflows, and data flows to communicate requirements effectively to technical and non-technical audiences

5. Collaborate with systems analysts, developers, and project managers to ensure requirements are feasible, clear, and aligned with technical capabilities

6. Validate requirements throughout the development lifecycle and manage scope changes through formal change control processes

7. Identify gaps between current state processes and desired future state solutions, recommending process optimisations and system enhancements

8. Perform quality assurance activities to ensure delivered solutions meet documented requirements and business expectations

9. Provide ongoing support during system implementation and training, addressing issues and clarifying requirements as needed

10. Maintain comprehensive requirements traceability matrices and documentation throughout project lifecycles

What we're looking for

1. 1-3 years of proven experience as a Business Requirements Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role within the Information and Communication Technology sector

2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex business challenges into clear, structured requirements

3. Proficiency in requirements elicitation techniques and experience using requirements management tools or software

4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and vice versa

5. Experience creating detailed documentation, including requirements specifications, process flow diagrams, and functional design documents

6. Familiarity with systems development methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches

7. Strong stakeholder management capabilities with experience working across multiple business functions and organisational levels

8. Proficiency in diagramming and documentation tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar applications

9. Knowledge of database concepts and data management principles

10. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines

11. Preferred: Experience in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, customer relationship management (CRM), or supply chain management applications

12. Preferred: Background in quality assurance testing or system validation processes

13. Preferred: Relevant certifications such as IIBA CCBA, ISTQB, or Project Management Professional (PMP)
