Business Support Coordinator
Business Support Coordinator
Braman Termite & Pest Elimination
Hourly / Non-Exempt | $20.00–$25.00/hour
Reports to: Office Manager
We're looking for a Business Support Coordinator who wants to learn our business from the inside out. You'll work with departments across the company, learn how they communicate and work together, help keep important information and deadlines on track, and identify opportunities to improve processes and communication.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, curious, detail-oriented, and enjoys solving problems.
What You’ll Actually Do
Keep the Administrative Machine Moving
- Provide administrative support across multiple departments and help keep projects and initiatives on track.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, presentations, and other business documents.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper records because “I know it’s somewhere” is not a filing system.
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate information across company systems and databases.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, schedules, and other administrative activities.
- Collect information, maintain records, and prepare reports for department leaders and management.
- Track deadlines, action items, and project milestones and follow up when necessary.
- Assist with special projects, process improvements, and whatever administrative challenge comes up next.
Own Licensing, Credentialing & Compliance Tracking
- Maintain employee licenses, certifications, registrations, testing records, and continuing education documentation.
- Monitor expiration dates and renewal deadlines so important credentials don't quietly expire.
- Prepare, submit, and track applications, renewals, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain compliance tracking systems and related records.
- Help prepare for audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews by gathering and organizing documentation.
Support the Business
- Work with department leaders on administrative projects, operational initiatives, and process improvements.
- Coordinate information and administrative needs across departments.
- Compile data and prepare reports for management review.
- Help identify ways to make administrative processes more organized, efficient, and foolproof.
- Jump in where needed. No two days are guaranteed to look exactly alike.
What We’re Looking For
You don't need to know everything on day one. You do need to be someone who can figure things out.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a high school diploma or equivalent; an Associate degree is preferred.
- Has at least 2 years of administrative, office support, compliance, licensing, credentialing, or related experience.
- Is exceptionally organized and notices details other people miss.
- Can manage multiple priorities without needing someone to create a color-coded checklist for every task.
- Is comfortable working with deadlines, spreadsheets, databases, documents, and lots of moving pieces.
- Has strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Can read and interpret written instructions, procedures, and documentation.
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Uses good judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Can work independently while also collaborating with people across the organization.
- Is comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment and doesn't melt down when priorities shift.
- Is naturally curious, resourceful, and willing to ask, “Why are we doing it this way?” when there may be a better way.
- Has a valid driver's license and proof of personal auto insurance.
- Is proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, but not required.
What You Can Expect
This is a high-visibility, high-variety administrative role where your work will touch nearly every part of the company. You'll have the opportunity to learn how the business operates, work directly with department leaders, take ownership of important administrative processes, and help make things run better.
If you're someone who likes organization, accountability, problem-solving, and actually getting things done, we'd like to hear from you.
If your organizational strategy is putting everything in a pile and hoping you remember where you put it, this probably isn't your dream job.
