ABOUT THE ROLE
- Provide high-level administrative, coordination and workflow support across multiple radiology sites, ensuring business support activities are delivered efficiently and within required timeframes.
- Monitor operational workflows, including reporting turnaround times (TAT), service delivery performance and escalation requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of operational reporting, dashboards and performance metrics.
- Support radiologist rostering coordination and operational coverage requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information across business systems, including RIS/PACS platforms and associated workflows.
- Coordinate referrer and stakeholder communications, tracking actions, resolutions and follow-up activities.
- Support the implementation of business process improvements and operational initiatives.
- Assist with compliance, quality assurance and audit-related activities.
- Contribute to the delivery of a responsive, collaborative and customer-focused business support service.
- Build effective working relationships across operational, clinical and administrative teams.
About You:
- Demonstrated experience in administration, business support, coordination or operational support roles, with healthcare experience highly regarded.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively across diverse teams.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with business information systems, databases or healthcare systems, including RIS/PACS (desirable).
- A professional approach to handling confidential and sensitive information.
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify and implement more effective ways of working.
Desirable:
- Experience in radiology or healthcare environments
- Exposure to RIS/PACS systems (e.g. Comrad, Intelerad)
- Exposure to QGenda
- Experience with reporting, data analysis, or workflow optimisation
