Business System Analyst (BSA)

About the role

X2P Solution Co., Ltd. is looking for Business System Analysts (BSA) to support an enterprise application modernization project in Bangkok.

We are looking for candidates who can work closely with business users and technical teams to understand existing business processes, gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into clear system requirements for the development team.

This role requires a combination of Business Analysis and System Analysis skills. The successful candidate should be comfortable working with users, analyzing existing applications, defining system functionality, and performing basic data and database design.

The project involves the modernization and migration of an existing enterprise web application to a new technology stack.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct requirement gathering sessions and workshops with business users and stakeholders

• Understand and analyze existing business processes, system functions, and application flows

• Translate business requirements into clear functional and system requirements

• Analyze existing system behavior and identify requirements for the new application

• Prepare requirement documents, functional specifications, process flows, and system-related documentation

• Define business rules, validation rules, and system logic

• Design basic database tables, data structures, and relationships based on system requirements

• Prepare basic ER diagrams / data models where required

• Define field-level requirements and support data mapping between existing and new systems

• Work closely with Tech Lead and Developers to clarify requirements and proposed solutions

• Coordinate with QA to define test scenarios and ensure appropriate requirement coverage

• Support System Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Manage requirement clarification and changes throughout the project lifecycle

• Communicate effectively between business users and technical teams

What we're looking for

• 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, or Business System Analyst

• Strong experience in requirement gathering and requirement analysis

• Ability to translate business requirements into detailed system requirements

• Good understanding of web application and software development concepts

• Able to understand and create process flows, system flows, and functional specifications

• Basic knowledge of database design and relational database concepts

• Able to design basic tables, fields, primary/foreign keys, and relationships

• Good understanding of SQL; ability to write basic SQL queries is preferred

• Experience working with Developers, QA, Tech Leads, and business users

• Experience in application modernization, migration, or enterprise system projects is an advantage

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

• Good communication skills in Thai; working English is an advantage

Salary: Up to THB 70,000/month, depending on experience and qualifications
