Analyzes business needs and translates them into technical requirements for AI-driven retail solutions hosted on Azure, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver features end-to-end.

The client provides solutions that leverage sophisticated machine learning, artificial intelligence (ontologies, inference engines, and rules), and natural language processing to provide highly actionable insights and recommendations to business users. Today, their solutions impact just about every aspect of the products you buy at your local store – from what is available to how it's priced and even where it is placed on the shelf. Their SolaaS (Solution as a Service) solutions are deployed within private clouds – principally on Azure. Our client helps transform market-leading companies into true data-driven digital enterprises.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Systems Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in a software product company;
  • Experience eliciting, documenting, and maintaining functional, non-functional, and technical requirements, user stories, and specifications;
  • Experience managing product roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives, and coordinating feature delivery across cross-functional teams;
  • Experience delivering software features end-to-end, from requirements elicitation through implementation, UAT, and production release;
  • Hands-on experience defining requirements for REST API integrations and collaborating closely with engineering teams throughout implementation;
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), version control, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jira, Bitbucket);
  • Hands-on experience working with relational databases and writing SQL queries to analyze data and validate business requirements;
  • Experience with visualization tools (e.g. draw.io, Figma, MS Visio etc.)
  • Understanding of cloud environments (e.g. Azure, GCP, AWS);
  • Excellent communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders and ability to lead requirements elicitation sessions;
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment;
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive and structured approach to problem-solving;
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience with Figma

  • Develop the functional specifications required to enhance our existing solutions and build new solutions;
  • Work collaboratively with data architects and engineers to ensure intended outcomes are achieved during solution development
  • Support existing documentation in Confluence as well as prepare new articles with features
  • Conduct feature testing to ensure functional changes are accurate
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document requirements;
  • Support Client Services team with ongoing questions and development of training materials for end users;
  • Contribute to the structure and design of solution components;
  • Manage the project deliverables in a timely manner;
  • Help build a user-friendly and high-quality software solution.
