Business System Analyst (Indonesia)

Are you someone who enjoys understanding how applications work, identifying gaps, and turning business needs into practical system improvements?

We are looking for a Business System Analyst to help us analyze and improve our applications and business processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders and IT Development teams to understand requirements, identify gaps in existing systems, translate them into clear specifications, and support testing and implementation.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys being the bridge between business and technology — someone who can understand a business problem, analyze what is happening in the current application, and help translate it into a practical solution.

You don't need to be a developer. What matters is your ability to analyze, ask the right questions, document requirements clearly, and work with technical teams to deliver the right solution.

What you'll do

1. Analyze Applications & Identify Gaps

• Analyze existing applications, workflows, and business processes to identify gaps, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Understand business and user needs and identify what can be improved from the current system.
• Recommend practical solutions based on business needs, user experience, and system capabilities.

2. Application & Business Process Improvement

• Gather and clarify requirements with business stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, specifications, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Prepare documentation such as BRD, business specifications, or similar requirement documents.
• Work the IT Development Team to ensure requirements are clearly understood before development.

3. Test & Validate Solutions

• Prepare test scenarios and expected outcomes for new features and enhancements.
• Conduct functional/UI testing and support UAT from the business perspective.
• Identify and document bugs, inconsistencies, and gaps, and follow up with the development team until resolution.
• Validate that delivered solutions meet the agreed requirements.

4. Work Across Teams

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT Development, UI/UX, and other relevant teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in project discussions, sprint reviews, and solution validation.
• Communicate business needs and technical requirements clearly to different stakeholders.

Who we need

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in System Analysis, Business Analysis, Application Analysis, Product Analysis, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience analyzing applications or business processes and identifying gaps or improvement opportunities.
• Experience translating business/user needs into requirements, specifications, user stories, or process flows.
• Experience preparing BRD, business specifications, functional requirements, or similar documentation.
• Experience with UAT, functional testing, or UI-based testing.
• Experience working with IT/Development teams to discuss requirements, issues, and solutions.
• Good understanding of how digital applications and systems work.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable using English in a professional working environment.

You don't need to be a programmer. However, you should be comfortable discussing applications, requirements, bugs, workflows, and solutions with technical teams.
