Business System Section Manager (Project-Based, 2 Years)

About the role

The Business System Section Manager provides professional leadership in managing, controlling, and developing systems for the concrete business in alignment with the company's direction. The role is also responsible for driving process improvement to enhance customer satisfaction, while overseeing SAP Basis, the software development lifecycle, and the hardware lifecycle to support sales volume growth.

Key responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and prepare the business system roadmap.

• Manage projects for BUA systems, including Dispatch, Batching, eCommerce, Mobile, and other business-related projects.

• Handle SAP Basis functions, such as user management, authorization management, and job scheduling.

• Develop internal software solutions using Microsoft platforms such as Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Tableau for analytical reporting, including source code version control.

• Administer MS SQL Server, including design, maintenance, backup, and restore activities.

• Provide efficient day-to-day operational support for the business.

• Set up systems to support business continuity planning and coordinate effective response measures in the event of a cyberattack.

• Manage client hardware, including operating systems, patching, valid application installation, and hardware lifecycle control.

• Manage vendors to ensure service delivery meets SLA requirements and operates efficiently.

• Build strong collaboration across all levels of the organization, including Group, Country, team members, users, suppliers, and auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field.

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in IT Applications, Business Systems, ERP, or Digital Transformation roles.

• Experience in the Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC), building materials, manufacturing, or related industries would be an advantage.

• Strong communication skills and IT fluency.

• Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.

• Proven experience in project management and vendor management.

• Experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration, database design, backup, and recovery.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.

• Effective communication skills in both Thai and English.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA will be an advantage.
