Business Process Analyst (API Governance) - 3659633 (USA)

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Business Process Analyst with experience working in API Governance position! This is a 6-18 month contract and will be REMOTE in the United States.

This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Define and implement governance processes for API endpoint security and scanning across the organization
• Lead comprehensive inventory and mapping initiatives to identify all API endpoints, ownership, and security measures currently in place
• Collaborate with Architecture teams to research, document, and establish best practice standards for API management and governance
• Facilitate cross-functional coordination between scanning tool teams, engineering groups, and governance stakeholders to centralize API data
• Design and implement processes for regular data collection and reporting of API security information into ServiceNow
• Develop and publish documentation standards and governance artifacts to internal SharePoint for distribution to engineering teams
• Manage top strategic initiatives by identifying next steps, coordinating validation with team members, and ensuring alignment with governance objectives
• Track initiative progress and dependencies using JIRA to maintain visibility across stakeholder groups
• Ensure all processes and documentation adhere to regulatory requirements and corporate technology standards for the regulated banking environment
• Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and business units to drive API governance maturity

What You'll Need to Have:

• 4+ years of experience defining and implementing business processes within a regulated industry (banking, financial services, or similar)
• Demonstrated experience working with APIs in a governance, operational, or oversight capacity
• Strong governance mindset with proven ability to establish processes, standards, and controls for technical initiatives
• Proficiency with SharePoint for documentation management and JIRA for initiative tracking
• Advanced skills with Microsoft tooling suite for documentation and collaboration
• High collaboration and engagement capabilities with comfort networking across teams and asking questions to gather information
• Extroverted communication style with the ability to facilitate discussions and drive alignment among diverse stakeholder groups
• Solid problem-solving and analytical skills to research best practices and translate them into actionable standards

Pay Range: $35-40+/hr
