Love making systems smarter, processes simpler and business operations better? We have an opportunity for you!
About the opportunity
Behind every great organisation are great systems and people who know how to get the best out of them!
We are looking for an experienced and solutions-focused Business Systems Analyst to join our Business Systems team for a 12-month fixed-term opportunity.
This is your chance to work across a range of enterprise business systems, collaborate with people from across the organisation and turn complex business challenges into practical, smarter solutions.
You'll play an important role in improving how our systems work, streamlining business processes and helping our people get the most out of the technology they use every day.
You'll be involved in:
• Analysing, improving and supporting enterprise business systems to drive better outcomes and efficiencies.
• Working closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve business processes and make better use of technology.
• Mapping, reviewing and documenting business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending practical solutions.
• Configuring, supporting and optimising business systems, providing technical advice and guidance to employees and stakeholders.
• Supporting system implementations, upgrades, enhancements and ongoing improvements.
• Assisting with system testing, change management and helping users feel confident with new and improved ways of working.
• Bridging the gap between business users and technical teams to ensure systems deliver what the organisation needs.
About you
You are someone who enjoys getting to the bottom of a problem, finding better ways of doing things and seeing the results of your work. You're naturally curious, analytical and solutions-focused, with the communication skills to bring people along on the journey.
You enjoy working with people just as much as working with systems and can translate technical information into practical advice that makes sense to your customers and stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate:
• A qualification in a relevant discipline, such as Information Systems, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in a similar role within a large or complex organisation.
• Experience working with enterprise business systems. Experience with Civica Authority, TechnologyOne and Content Manager would be highly regarded.
• Experience maximising the effective use of information systems and technology.
• Strong computing, numeracy and literacy skills.
• Well-developed organisational and customer service skills.
• Excellent communication, research and analytical skills.
• The ability to investigate issues, solve problems, negotiate and influence positive outcomes.
• Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies.
• An understanding of practical Work Health and Safety requirements, including hazard identification in an office environment.
