About the Role:
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Business Systems, the Business Systems Analyst/Developer is responsible for the day-to-day support, development, and continuous improvement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS and related business applications.
The role is balanced between ERP application support and development, with approximately 50% focused on troubleshooting and ticket resolution and the remaining time dedicated to enhancements, reporting, integrations, and other business systems projects.

The successful applicant will:
- Provide support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and related business systems, including troubleshooting and resolution of ERP and business system tickets.
- Work directly with business users to understand issues and requirements and provide effective solutions.
- Work with the Senior Manager to research, develop, and implement change requests based on business needs and impact.
- Develop, test, and deploy Business Central extensions using AL and Visual Studio Code.
- Develop and maintain Business Central reports using RDL/RDLC and Word report layouts.
- Maintain source code and development processes using GitHub and/or Azure DevOps.
- Develop and support Business Central integrations, APIs, and third-party applications.
- Coordinate testing of system enhancements, fixes, and Business Central updates.
- Maintain technical documentation and provide user guidance or training as required.
We are seeking a candidate with the following experience and attributes:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
- 3–5 years of experience supporting and developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
- Hands-on experience with AL development and Visual Studio Code.
- Experience with Business Central tables, pages, extensions, code units, events, APIs, reports, and permission sets.
- Experience with Git-based source control, preferably GitHub or Azure DevOps.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work directly with business users to resolve both functional and application-related issues.
- Ability to manage multiple support tickets and development requests based on priority and business impact.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical users.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data manipulation.
Nice to Have:
- Experience integrating Business Central with third-party platforms such as Shopify and HubSpot.
- Experience developing and supporting Business Central extensions and integrations.
- Strong preference for experience with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate.
- Working knowledge of SQL, including writing queries and working with relational databases.
