Summary

We are seeking a highly technical Business Systems Analyst who will act as the critical link between Middle Office stakeholders, IT, and system vendors. The primary objective of this role is to translate complex risk reporting and business requirements into precise technical designs and specifications, ensuring accurate, automated, and controlled data and reporting within Middle Office systems.

Main Responsibilities

  • Gather business requirements from the Risk Department and translate them into functional and technical specifications, data models, and process flows.

  • Design, document, and implement solutions for reporting, analytics, and system enhancements.

  • Prepare test cases and coordinate user acceptance testing to validate system changes.

  • Develop and maintain data models supporting exposure reporting, P&L analysis, and management dashboards.

  • Use SQL, Python, Power BI to automate daily reporting processes and validate trading data.

  • Investigate and resolve system and data issues while supporting data governance efforts.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Data Analyst in a data-intensive environment.

  • Strong SQL, Power BI, and Python skills for querying and validating large datasets.

  • Understanding of data modeling concepts and control frameworks.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with APIs, data pipelines, or cloud platforms.

  • Experience with ETRM/CTRM platforms like SAP Commodity Management or Endur.

  • Knowledge of commodity pricing structures and Middle Office processes.
