Business Systems Analyst – Federal Application Modernization

Concept Solutions, LLC (CS) is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join a team supporting the development, modernization, and sustainment of mission-critical applications for a Department of War (DoW) customer.

In this role, you will collaborate with Government stakeholders, Product Owners, and technical teams to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements. You will play an important role in improving business processes, documenting requirements, and ensuring that application enhancements align with operational needs.

• Partner with Government process owners to document business processes, user workflows, and operational requirements, ensuring alignment with mission objectives.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements while maintaining traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
• Translate complex business rules into clear, structured requirements that engineering teams can implement and test.
• Facilitate business-rule reviews, walkthroughs, and sign-offs with Government stakeholders and technical teams.
• Develop clear, measurable, and testable acceptance criteria to support application development and validation.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner on backlog refinement, requirements clarification, and user sessions to support iterative development and continuous improvement.
