Business Systems Analyst, Finance

You listen to and translate Googler needs into high-level technical specifications, design and develop recommended systems and consult with Google executives to ensure smooth implementation. Whether battling large system processes or leveraging our homegrown suite of Google products for Googlers themselves, you help Googlers work faster and more efficiently.

- Partner with internal teams to define and implement solutions that improve internal finance business processes such as asset accounting, supply chain accounting and project systems.
- Provide expert level of business process guidance on SAP Financial Accounting requirements documentation, solution design, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution.
- Partner with business teams in developing delivery roadmaps, defining business processes and associated system requirements, identify new areas of investment.
- Support implemented systems by troubleshooting and resolving system, data, and process-related issues.
- Initiate necessary business process re-engineering to have effective and efficient operations.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience designing and implementing Finance or Supply Chain systems.
- 5 years of experience building integrated systems throughout the entire lifecycle (e.g., analyze, design, build, test, implement, and support).
Preferred qualifications:
- SAP FI certified (preferably on S/4 HANA).
- 10 years of experience in full cycle SAP FI implementations and support projects.
- Experience with Asset Accounting and Project Systems.
- Expert in finance processes and understands its integration with sales and distribution and supply chain.
- Hands on experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases, including requirements gathering, blueprinting, authoring functional specifications, system configuration, testing etc.
- Familiar with SQL and data analysis.
