Your Role
When two reports disagree or an approval stalls, the cause usually sits somewhere between applications. We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to trace how requests and records move through our clients' systems and to write down exactly what has to change. Full-time, remote within the United States.

We are a Chicago consultancy for operations and technology work: workflow design, systems integration, and the reconciliation behind reports. The people who run a process take part in every assignment, because they know things the software does not show.

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to trace how requests and records move through our clients' systems and to write down exactly what has to change. Full-time, remote within the United States.
Typical Work
- Map a process from the first request to the final record, exception routes included
- Compare what a system actually does with what the team expects, and document the gaps
- Write requirements and field mappings for a new form, approval rule or integration
- Pull record samples with SQL or exports and reconcile them between two systems
- Prepare test cases for normal work and for the exceptions, then record what happened
- A bachelor's degree in information systems, business, computer science or something close
- Some experience in business or systems analysis, IT support or reporting, internships included
- Basic SQL: SELECT queries with joins and filters
- Excel, including pivot tables and XLOOKUP
- Hands-on time with ServiceNow, Salesforce, Jira or an ERP system
- Process diagrams in Visio, Lucidchart or BPMN
- Full-time and remote, anywhere in the U.S.
