The Company
We're partnering with a well-established organisation within the Engineering sector that has recently completed a significant digital transformation, implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations across the business.

As they continue to enhance and optimise the platform, they're seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join the team on a 6 month contract, commencing in early September through to the end of February.

Based in the Perth CBD, you'll become part of a collaborative IT team, working closely with Finance, business stakeholders, and external technology partners to ensure Dynamics 365 continues to support business operations and drive continuous improvement.

The Role
This is a hands on Business Systems Analyst position where you'll become the internal support owner of the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environment.

You'll be responsible for managing day to day application support, working closely with Finance and end users, coordinating with external vendors, and identifying opportunities to improve business processes and system functionality.

This role offers an excellent blend of systems support, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and business analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations across the business.
• Investigate and resolve Level 1 and Level 2 application support issues.
• Support user onboarding, security, permissions, and access management.
• Partner with Finance during month end reporting, analysis, and business processes.
• Produce reports and provide meaningful insights from financial and operational data.
• Map business processes and identify opportunities to improve workflows and efficiencies.
• Coordinate system upgrades, testing, releases, and deployments.
• Liaise with external software vendors to investigate and resolve technical issues.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into practical system improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across business systems and applications.

About You
You'll come from a Business Systems, ERP Support, Applications Support, or Business Analyst background and enjoy working across both technical and business teams.

You'll ideally bring experience with:

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (Must Have).
• ERP or Finance systems support.
• Business process mapping and workflow optimisation.
• Reporting and financial data analysis.
• User support, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management.
• System testing, upgrades, and change management.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.

Experience supporting Finance teams or working within ERP environments, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365, will be highly regarded.
