Business Systems Analyst (Warehouse Automation & ERP)

Description
To own the alignment between INUKA's business processes, the Odoo ERP
and the warehouse automation landscape (scanning, conveyors, pick/put-to-light,
robotics and WMS/WCS) so that systems scale ahead of a business growing at 50%
year on year. The role is the bridge between Warehouse & Logistics, Sales,
Manufacturing, Finance and the technical BizTech team: it translates
operational requirements into functional and integration specifications,
ensures that all delivered solutions, whether built internally or by partners, are of high quality and adopted by users, and is accountable for system
outputs that protect inventory accuracy, order throughput and the same-day,
bulk and cross-border delivery commitments.
Requirements
- 8+ years' experience
as a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst or ERP Functional Consultant, of
which at least 5 years in a warehousing, distribution or supply-chain-driven
environment (FMCG, wholesale, e-commerce or 3PL preferred).
- 5+ years hands-on ERP
experience in the inventory / warehouse / logistics domain – Odoo strongly
preferred (Inventory, Barcode, Purchase, Sales, Manufacturing); SAP EWM/WM,
Dynamics 365 SCM, NetSuite or Sage X3 with a WMS will be considered.
- Proven, end-to-end
involvement in at least one warehouse automation programme (barcode/RF
scanning, conveyors, sortation, pick-to-light / put-to-light, goods-to-person,
AMR/AGV robotics, WCS/WES) from requirements through design, testing, go-live
and stabilisation.
- Demonstrated
ownership of system alignment and output: accountable for ERP/WMS configuration
matching physical operations, integration between ERP and automation equipment,
and for measurable outputs such as inventory accuracy, pick accuracy and order
throughput.
- Experience supporting
high-growth, high-volume order fulfilment with demanding SLAs (same-day
delivery), bulk orders and cross-border / export orders (shipping
documentation, customs, multi-currency).
- Experience specifying
and testing integrations (APIs, EDI, middleware, carrier and e-commerce
integrations) and managing data migration and master-data governance.
- Proven experience in
business process mapping (BPMN), requirements elicitation, user stories and
acceptance criteria, test case design and leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Experience managing
ERP and automation implementation partners / vendors (statements of work,
deliverable acceptance, FAT/SAT).
- Demonstrable
experience developing SOPs and training material, building super-user networks
and driving adoption in operational (shop-floor) environments.
