Business Systems & BI Analyst
Key responsibilities
Provide day-to-day ERP support and troubleshooting, with a focus on Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, inventory, sourcing, forecasting, and Master Data Management
Support ERP testing, enhancements, integrations, upgrades, documentation, data validation, reconciliation, cleansing, and master-data quality initiatives
Work with Finance, Sales, Operations, Sourcing, Forecasting, Supply Chain, and remote teams across different time zones to identify and implement process improvements
Develop and maintain Microsoft Access, advanced Excel workbooks, VBA applications, Power Query, and Python solutions to automate repetitive processes and improve control and accuracy
Write and maintain SQL/T-SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and reporting datasets; investigate discrepancies and perform root-cause analysis across ERP and related systems
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, SSRS reports, SQL reporting datasets, and Excel-based analytical tools
Translate business requirements into reports, dashboards, KPIs, data models, and practical technical solutions
Identify when manual or spreadsheet-based processes should be migrated to database, BI, or application-based solutions
Requirements
Experience in trading, sourcing, or toys industry
3-5 years of relevant experience in ERP systems, business systems, business analysis, reporting, data analysis, or related technical roles
Strong understanding of ERP business processes, including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Inventory Management, Sourcing, Forecasting, and Master Data Management
Hands-on experience with SAP Business One, including database structures, reporting, and ERP administration
Advanced Microsoft Excel, Excel VBA, Power Query, Microsoft Access, and Python skills for reporting, automation, data analysis, and business process improvement
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL/T-SQL, including queries, joins, aggregations, views, stored procedures, data validation, and analysis
Experience developing reports, dashboards, KPIs, and management information using SQL, Excel, SSRS, Power BI, or similar reporting tools
Experience working with remote teams across different time zones
Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, Power Automate, Microsoft Fabric, ETL processes, data warehousing, or dimensional modelling would be an advantage

Comfortable investigating systems and data independently, while explaining technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
Proactive, organized, adaptable, and interested in continuously improving and automating business processes
Education
A degree or higher diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Administration with a strong technical background, or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
