Position Summary

As a Butler at Nemacolin, you will become a trusted, highly personalized resource for guests throughout their stay, anticipating needs, orchestrating details, and creating an effortless sense of care from arrival through departure. As part of a resort that features Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond-rated luxury accommodations, you will bring warmth, discretion, sophistication, and exceptional attention to detail to every interaction. By understanding individual preferences and coordinating seamlessly across the resort, you will transform requests into thoughtful experiences and ensure every detail of a guest’s journey feels considered, personal, and beautifully executed.

What You Will Create

  • A seamless connection to the resort, giving guests confident access to accommodations, dining, spa, recreation, transportation, activities, entertainment, events, and surrounding attractions while coordinating the details that bring each experience together
  • Effortless arrivals, departures, and in-stay moments through personalized accommodation introductions, room preparations, room checks, amenities, refreshments, gifts, correspondence, luggage assistance, wardrobe preparation, and other appropriate personal services
  • Continuity across every guest request, with ownership from initial inquiry through completion, thoughtful follow-up, accurate documentation, and clear communication with the departments responsible for delivering each experience
  • A coordinated luxury experience across the resort, partnering closely with Housekeeping, Front Office, Concierge, Food & Beverage, Recreation, Spa, Transportation, and other departments to ensure preferences and requests are understood and fulfilled seamlessly
  • Confidence and trust in moments that matter, responding to guest concerns with empathy, professionalism, sound judgment, and ownership while recognizing opportunities to turn service recovery into a stronger relationship
  • The highest level of discretion and personal care, protecting confidential guest information and maintaining a polished, organized, and guest-ready presence throughout the shift, including during VIP arrivals, celebrations, special events, and other high-touch experiences
  • A lasting record of personalized service, maintaining accurate guest preferences, requests, and service recovery details while providing thoughtful shift transitions that allow the next butler to continue the experience without missing a detail

What You Can Expect

  • A highly personalized hospitality role within a resort that features Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond luxury accommodations
  • Meaningful daily interaction with discerning guests whose expectations call for intuition, discretion, warmth, and exceptional attention to detail
  • A dynamic environment where no two guest experiences are alike, requiring resourcefulness, composure, and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities
  • Close collaboration with departments throughout the resort, providing an opportunity to build broad hospitality knowledge and strong cross-functional relationships
  • A role that combines personalized service with hands-on guest support, including luggage assistance, accommodation preparation, deliveries, and other personal-service requests
  • A schedule shaped by guest needs and resort operations, including nights, weekends, holidays, and split shifts
  • A physically active role requiring the ability to bend and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Opportunities to deepen expertise in luxury hospitality, guest relations, service recovery, and personalized experience design

What You Bring

  • A naturally intuitive approach to hospitality, with the ability to recognize what a guest may need before being asked
  • Warmth, sophistication, discretion, and the confidence to build trusted relationships with discerning guests
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
  • Strong organization and follow-through, particularly when managing multiple requests and highly individualized details
  • Sound judgment, composure, and resourcefulness in a fast-paced environment
  • A polished professional presence and genuine commitment to exceptional guest service
  • Adaptability and flexibility to respond to changing guest needs, resort priorities, and varied schedules
