Buyer and Planner

Scope of duties
- Replenishment planning against customer forecasts/stock contracts/historical sales/orders
- Create and manage supply and replenishment plans to ensure consistent product availability
- Weekly forecasting analysis on key accounts
- Managing orders to vendors: creation, confirmation, monitoring
- Identify and proactively resolve supply chain risks such as shortages, delays, or demand fluctuations
- Expedite incoming materials to meet customer expectations
- Product sourcing & resourcing
- Manage customers VMI program
- Inventory management
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock while minimizing excess and obsolescence
- Manage and maintain accurate planning parameters and master data within ERP/MRP systems
- Support new product introductions (NPI) and product lifecycle planning
- Data analysis and KPI updates
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes and supply chain efficiency
- Contacting suppliers and carriers to arrange deliveries to customers on time
- Dealing with any quality concerns raised by our customers
- Raising debit notes on suppliers/arranging for goods to be returned to suppliers if goods are rejected
- Prepare stock transfer lists for warehouse team to arrange shipments to customer
- Liaising with warehouse to ensure transfers orders are dispatched on time
- Resolving any goods in queries relating to orders you have placed with suppliers
- Work closely with customer operations, sales, and procurement teams to align supply with customer requirements
- Quarterly business reviews with customers regarding their forecasted demand
Education, Experience & Qualifications
- University degree, preferably in supply chain or logistics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and trends
- Very good knowledge of English (B2-C1)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP).
- Self-starter
- Ability to make profitable savings
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused, and operational environment
- Knowledge of SAP system will be an advantage
- B category driving license
- Experience preferred - 2 years in Purchasing/Procurement/Supply Chain
