Summary
Responsible for purchasing products, inventory control, and supply chain logistics in assigned commodity/service areas, including order placement, delivery scheduling, and back-order management.
Chandler currently has an opening for a Buyer based in Saint John, NB (Location flexible).

- The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting Purchasing Department needs in an assigned area of commodities and/or services including:
o Purchasing products – order placement and follow-up
o Inventory control
o Delivery schedules
o Back order reports - Special assignments and projects as assigned by the Purchasing Manager
- Education Required: Associate’s Degree
- Years of Experience Required: 2-5 years of experience with Inventory Control, Purchasing, and Materials Management
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and verbal communications
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
