Buyer Planner

Location: Cary, NC
Work Model: Hybrid
Pay Rate: $34.24/hr

Job Summary

We are seeking a Buyer Planner to support the Supply Chain team within the Finance organization. This role will focus on demand planning, inventory management, forecasting, supplier coordination, and purchasing activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory, transactions, reconciliations, projections, and tracking.
• Develop and maintain demand forecasts and execution plans.
• Support new product introductions, product lifecycle, and obsolescence planning.
• Track forecast accuracy, authorization, timeliness, and inventory exposure.
• Develop spares strategies and support supplier negotiations.
• Coordinate forecasting and ordering with suppliers and internal teams.
• Resolve discrepancies between forecasted and ordered materials.
• Partner with Strategic Sourcing and suppliers.
• Analyze and report excess and obsolete inventory.
• Improve forecast-to-order processes and controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of materials demand planning experience.
• Experience with Oracle or another ERP system.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.

: Customer service experience and background in inventory management, procurement, or supply chain.
