C++ Backend Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend C++ components supporting sales and trading applications.

• Work across the broader technology stack, including .NET services, Kafka messaging pipelines, KDB+ data stores and Python tooling, as needed.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the trading systems, applying strong logical and analytical thinking.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including trading desks, business stakeholders and other engineering teams, to deliver reliable solutions.

• Contribute across the full development lifecycle, from design and coding through testing and production support.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong proficiency in C++ development, banking and financial services, capital markets and sales and trading systems.

• Experience in backend development, .NET, Kafka, KDB+, Python, SQL, Linux/Unix, object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms, multithreading, API integration, system design, performance optimization, debugging, troubleshooting, production support, and full software development lifecycle (SDLC) management.
