Summary

Build and maintain Windows desktop CAD applications using C++, MFC, and CAD APIs in Visual Studio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Windows-based applications using C++ and MFC or CAD.
  • Develop and customize CAD-related functionalities, tools, and features based on business and engineering requirements.
  • Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, debugging, and deployment.
  • Work with CAD software and APIs/SDKs to develop custom features, utilities, plugins, and automation solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable C++ code following OOP principles, SOLID principles, and established design patterns.
  • Use Visual Studio for development, debugging, and application maintenance.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in C++, CAD development, and Windows application development.


Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience in C++ software development.
  • Hands-on experience in C++ Windows desktop application development.
  • Strong knowledge of C++, Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming, and Design Patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with MFC and Windows application development.
  • Experience working with CAD software, CAD APIs, SDKs, or CAD customization/development.
  • Good understanding of CAD concepts, workflows, geometry, drafting, modelling, or engineering design applications.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio for development and debugging.
  • Strong programming, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Git for source code management and Jira for task/issue tracking.
  • ​Understanding of the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
