C# Developer
Summary
A software engineer role in West London building and supporting scalable backend services in Java and/or C# with ReactJS frontends, REST APIs and microservices. Day to day spans Oracle/Couchbase databases, Kafka/ActiveMQ messaging, AWS observability (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) and CI/CD pipelines in an Agile team.
Salary: £98,940 - 98,940 per year
Requirements:- Strong commercial experience with Java and/or C#; experience in both is highly desirable.
- Strong frontend development experience with ReactJS.
- Proven experience building and supporting REST APIs and microservices.
- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, particularly Oracle and Couchbase.
- Experience with messaging and event-driven technologies such as Kafka, ActiveMQ, or AmazonMQ.
- Good understanding of observability and monitoring tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Concourse, and Git-based development workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and/or C#.
- Build modern, responsive user interfaces using ReactJS.
- Develop and support RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Design, optimize, and maintain database solutions using Oracle and Couchbase.
- Implement and support event-driven architectures using messaging platforms such as Kafka, ActiveMQ, or AmazonMQ.
- Monitor application health using observability tools, including logs, metrics, dashboards, and alerting.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable automated testing and deployments.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues to ensure high system availability and performance.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA Engineers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality software.
