Salary: £62,000 - 102,000 per year
Requirements:- Strong C# knowledge with exposure to .Net Framework 4.5.2+ and .Net 5+
- Good understanding of algorithms, system design and architecture, design patterns, implementation, and unit testing
- Experience in a developer role on large and complex projects
- Understanding of .Net performance analysis and optimization approaches
- Ability to write comprehensive unit tests using frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, Shouldly, or equivalents
- Familiarity with web technologies including OpenAPI/Swagger, REST, authentication, and TLS
- Experience or familiarity with high-volume, low-latency, highly available financial systems, trading platforms, or financial data processing
- Broad technical experience with exposure to languages such as Python, Java, and Bash, as well as operating systems such as Linux
- Experience with version control and CI/CD tools such as Git and GitLab/GitHub
- Understanding of messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Solace
- Strong understanding of design patterns and how to use them to solve complex technical problems
- Proven ability to work with development team members and other partners with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn new skills quickly and work with attention to detail

- Work on our multi-year transformation of the Equities Technology platform across execution, prime, clearing, and cross-product margining
- Re-engineer our technology estate to improve performance, resiliency, and modernized post-trade, clearing, and margin processes
- Collaborate with high-calibre engineers and business and product partners to define and deliver the next generation of Equities technology
- Conduct performance testing and profiling to ensure robustness and scalability for high-volume financial data processing
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve code issues and performance bottlenecks
- Use script tools and code analysis to identify and define necessary system enhancements
