Summary

Remote C++ developer building an ultra-low-latency trading platform for an international trading company (hired via Launch & Scale on behalf of the client). Day to day: writing low-latency trading modules, exchange connectivity (FIX/SBE, TCP/UDP multicast), and optimizing code to microsecond-level performance on Linux.

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a C++ Developer.

About the Project:
An international trading company developing an in-house ultra-low-latency trading platform. The platform is continuously evolving with new modules, exchange connectivity, and trading capabilities, focusing on high performance and deterministic execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance components of a high-performance, ultra-low-latency trading platform.
  • Design and implement low-latency trading modules from scratch in a Linux environment.
  • Optimize existing code for microsecond-level performance and deterministic execution.
  • Work with high-throughput market data and order routing systems.
  • Implement and maintain exchange connectivity and data feed handlers.
  • Improve system architecture, performance, and scalability.

-Develop client-server data exchange systems using raw TCP/UDP and multicast protocols.

  • Interface with global exchanges using FIX and SBE binary protocols.
  • Collaborate with traders and engineers to deliver robust trading infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of professional C++ development experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with high-performance or low-latency systems.
  • Strong knowledge of modern C++ (C++17/20 preferred) and STL.
  • Deep understanding of Linux internals, multithreading, and memory management.
  • Experience with multithreaded and concurrent programming.
  • Proficiency in TCP/IP sockets and network protocol programming.
  • Understanding of client-server architecture and distributed systems.
  • Experience writing highly optimized, performance-critical code.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with FIX protocol, including text-based FIX or binary FIX/SBE.
  • Experience with multicast networking and high-performance message processing systems.
  • Experience in financial markets or electronic trading systems.
  • Familiarity with market data feeds and exchange connectivity.
  • Knowledge of performance profiling and latency optimization.

Company offers:

  • Long-term employment with possibilities for professional growth
  • Fully remote work
  • Reasonably flexible schedule
  • 15 days of paid vacation
  • Regular performance reviews
