What You’ll Do:
- Examine damaged vehicle to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage
- Estimate cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item
- Immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor
- Follow through repair process-file handler
- Manage and collect receivables
- Perform the duties of the General Manager in their absence
- Train and manage staff in company policies and ensure adherence to all company policies
- Motivate, counsel and monitor the performance of all department staff conducting disciplinary action or PIP’s as needed and administer annual performance evaluations for staff with thoughtful feedback
- Appraise staff productivity and efficiency for recommending promotions or other changes in status

What You Bring:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- One-year automotive industry experience background and one year of face-to-face customer service experience preferred
- Associates degree in Certified Collision Repair Curriculum preferred
- Previous estimating experience in a fast-paced auto body shop with knowledge of tools and repair/refinish procedures including body, paint, mechanical & electrical parts replacement helpful
- Ability to maintain ongoing positive relationships with insurance companies
- Excellent sales abilities, customer service, and communication skills
- Must be self-motivated and detail oriented
- Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
