C++ Integration Engineer - Student Position
Summary
A part-time student role on Mobileye's Infra Development team in Jerusalem, supporting integration of autonomous-driving software: integrating algorithmic components, monitoring and debugging CI pipelines, and writing small C++ utilities. Core stack: C++, Git/GitLab, CI systems, Docker, and Linux.
As a Student C++ Integration Engineer, you will join a dynamic development environment and work closely with experienced developers, algorithm engineers, and integration stakeholders. You will support the integration of algorithmic and software components, investigate integration issues, monitor CI flows, and contribute to C++ development tasks and internal tools.
This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with complex software systems, development and integration processes, and advanced autonomous-driving technologies. Students who demonstrate strong performance will have opportunities for professional growth and future integration within the team.
What will your job look like:
- Support the integration of algorithmic and software components into shared development and release environments
- Work with C++ code in a large-scale codebase
- Monitor CI flows, analyze failures, and help investigate integration and build issues
- Investigate, reproduce, triage, and resolve software issues across multiple debugging environments
- Analyze logs, system data, and CI results to identify root causes and prioritize issues
- Develop small C++ utilities, automation tools, and software improvements according to team needs
- Work with Git, GitLab, CI systems, Docker, and Linux-based development environments
- Collaborate with developers, algorithm engineers, and other R&D teams to support smooth integration of new features
- Learn and apply Mobileye’s development, debugging, code-review, and integration practices
All you need is:
- B.Sc. student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- At least one and a half years of studies remaining until graduation
- Availability for two and a half working days per week
- Good programming skills in C++
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies and systems
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles
- Basic familiarity with Linux environments and version-control concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to investigate technical issues independently and work effectively with guidance from experienced team members
Advantages:
- Practical experience with version control and git submodules
- Familiarity with testing methodologies, debugging tools, log analysis, or scripting
- Experience with CMake, Bash, Docker, or similar development tools
